Nurse Call - Staff Attack Alarms

The 'staff attack' system is a simple and effective way of alerting care staff and management to the fact that a colleague requires immediate assistance.

The system operates with ceiling mounted beacons sited at regular intervals throughout the building.  As a staff member passes a beacon their emergency trigger ‘handshakes’ with the beacon.  In the event that the trigger is activated a series of radio signals are sent to activate the Staff Attack alert on all display panels and staff pagers.  As well as displaying the attack alarm it will also display the last beacon ‘handshake’ location, pinpointing the attack area to just a few metres.
 
The whole process takes less than a second, giving the response team the maximum amount of time to respond and deal with the situation.
