Call Points
Our call points are housed in unique, elegant enclosures made in the UK and built to withstand the tough environment of the care home. Compare our call points to any other and the quality and rugged design will become immediately apparent.
We realise that our call points may well be subjected to food and drink spillages as well as other contaminants. Therefore, rather than using traditional buttons that become stuck and damaged, we use a wipe clean label with an anti-bacterial coating. If anything is spilled onto the call point it can simply be wiped off and if the label is damaged it can be replaced in seconds, leaving the call point looking as good as new.
Each call point (other than ceiling pull cords) has four clearly marked label buttons, Call, Assistance, Emergency and Reset and each of these is colour coded for easy identification. The call points are supplied with either a pull-cord or two sockets for pear-push leads and/or auxiliary devices such as pressure mats and bed monitors.
The nurse call points are powered by 4xAA alkaline batteries (supplied) which under normal conditions provide 2-3 years usage. Programming the call point is straightforward with no ‘special equipment’ or components required. Using our step by step instruction sheet it is possible to code a room unit number in seconds.
All nurse call points are supplied with a wall mounted on a bracket. The unit can be removed and used around the room or, if required, the bracket can be fitted with a top locking clip to prevent the unit from being removed.
